Well apologies for the lack of recent updates but Neccl has been having a rest for a while after such a busy Winter Season. There has been some great MTB events in the region inc the Nutcracker Series, local club TT’s are being very well suppourted. The road racing side of things seems to have been over flooded with events and riders are picking and choosing with some having to be cancelled due to lack of entries etc on that note some of the MTB events are also taking a hit with the Nutcracker 24 & Kielder Enduro 12 also being cancelled. The Keilder Enduro Series is also struggling for riders as well. Sportives are still going strong but some may well see the numbers drop as the entry fees are starting to hit £25ish ! not only that the riders cost of fuel to get to and from events is huge factor to take into account now as well. Times are hard and going to get harder. One good thing all the online cycle retailers and fighting for your very last £ and there are some cracking deals at there at the mo. Enjoy the Summer months of probably wet riding and NE CX League season starts on 17th Aug 2011.

CROFT TUESDAY CIRCUIT RACES 2011
All the events are held on the Croft Motor Racing Circuit located two miles from Croft on Tees off the Darlington to Northallerton road. Entry on Line Only- Juveniles at 18.30pm : Entry Fees £2 TLI members, £4 Non members. Main Event, 19.15pm : Entry Fees £9 TLI members, £11 Non members. All riders MUST have a transponder, £5 refunded on return, fixed to the front forks on right hand side just below the brake blocks. 2010/11 was the best season NECCL have ever had and with the highest average of riders 86 per race over the season since records began. Min pay out for this year is £25 cash so that equates to a FREE RACE SEASON. Total payout on night worth nearly £1600! No one goes away empty handed regardless of position / league you are in. Been & Gone & Done
End of Season Super CX / MTB Enduro – this Sunday 13th Feb 2011 @ Hetton Lyons Country Park. FULL INFO and the poster are in the SUPER Enduro Section. What a final to end the Season. Great prizes to be won Met Helmet, Buff’s, High 5 Waterbottles, Innovation Repair kits etc there will be cake & juice afterwards as well. Loads of goodies for the kids as well. Kielder Marathon Rd 1 Winter Warmer

The Grand of all Grand Finals + whats coming up
What an end to fantastic season of racing. Dave & Alex planned a great course with a good mix of terrain but not too hard for a change. Hetton held up very well considering the recent weather.
