Many thanks to Derek G & Co from Cleveland Wheelers CC for organising a cracking days racing on a very sunny & pleasant Eston Hills. NECCL WINTER SERIES Rd 4 this Sunday 6th Nov 2012 @ Middlesbrough. Full details are in the Events Info section inc directions & map etc. RD3 @ Whickham was a real tester with some real sticky mud and plenty climbing. Welldone to all the riders who managed to complete the full duration. It was a real tester of a course and some glourious weather as well. Update – forecast is looking fantastic with sunshine & 15 degrees, come on have a day out and enjoy the fresh air and get a sweat on! Cheapest CX racing in the UK and 13 cash prizes on the day.

Yes Rd3 is this Sunday @ Whickham Thorns Activity Centre, Gateshead. Three races on the day for ages and abilities, all are welcome and just enter on the day. Full Event info is in the EVENT INFO Section inc directions, maps, etc this is a fantastic venue with loads of things for all ages to do inc the Wife’s / Girlfriends to go shopping at the Metro Centre less than a mile away.

NECCL WINTER SERIES RD4 @ Eston Hills Middlesbrough, Sunday 6th Nov 2011.

Next up NECCL WINTER SERIES RD 3 Whickham Thorns Outdoor Activity Centre, Gateshead. Sun 30th Oct 2011 – full info in the Events Info Section. Rd 7 is now at a very new and exciting venue which has not been used for CX racing before and has full facilities @ Hardwick Park, Sedgefield, Co Durham. Many thanks to Ian Dunn, Ferryhill Wheelers and Durham County Council for organising this. Also there may be an additonal event as well this Winter on yet another new venue in Co Durham, more news to follow. FOR SALE section has also new items added, check it out.

Gallagher Park @ Bedlington was a new venue & course for an NECCL Winter CX event. Barnesbury CC had set out a challenging course with some tough climbs, fast descents and some real testing off chamber corners to test all the riders skills on the day. There was also a fantastic U12’s course set right on the top of the hill weaving through the plantation. Photos, report and results are all uploaded in the relevant sections.

One Peak of Hetton was a real tester for all riders of all ages and the last climb / run up was a great test of a riders strength. Race report, results & photos are all done. Yes the race is on at Hetton today, forecast is looking good with the temperature hitting 19 degrees so will be hot and sweaty on the climbs (see pic to the left for one of them). Hetton is dry and no mud so will be fast again under tyre. Come along and enjoy the days event. Also good luck to the riders who were lucky (or should that be unlucky!) who got a number for the 3 Peaks should be alittle breezy on the tops !!

This Sunday is the One peak of Hetton Event – will be a great days racing. Spot prizes on the days and goodies for all the kids. Neccl Winter Series Rd 2 Info is now in the EVENTS INFO Section. MBE AUTUMN SERIES 2012  is now sorted, poster in the Autumn Section. Also a new FOR SALE Section has been added to the web for everyone to use for free.

One Peak of Hetton Sun 25th Sept 2011. The three seperate courses have been planned ready for the day. The main course includes new sections and some climbs that have not been used since the TLI NAT CHMAPS were held at Hetton. Course lengnth is just over 1.50miles and 184ft climbing per lap.
