There was a few NE riders taking on the Challenge of the Nat Trophy, in the 
Elite Men – 14th S Wearmoth, 29th S Ward, 38th K Murray, Dns/Dnf M Lewis. Vet Men 16th S Brazier, Dns/Dnf R Atkinson. Junior Dnf/Dns A Martin. U14 Girls 8th E Brady. They dont do U12’s results so not sure if young T Mein competed / placed.
Also there is a busy weekend coming up soon with the last Rd of the Keilder Marathon Series Oktoberfest on Sat 16th Oct approx 50k, pre entry & day entry is still avaialble. Also on Sun 17th Oct is the last round of the Nutcracker Series @ the local venue of Hamsetrley Forest– by all accounts it is going to be a ‘Cracking’ course, again pre entry & day entry are available, check out their website for full details.
